The Pan African Parliament,1.PLEASED with the intervention of the President of the African Union and the Chairperson of the Commission of the African Union and other other Heads of State, permitting the resolution of the constitutional crisis in Togo following the death of the late President Eyadema GNASSINGBE;2.PLEASED FURTHER with the efforts of several regional institutions that contributed to the resolution of the constitutional crisis in Togo;3.SATISFIED with the manner in which the African Union managed this crisis;THEREFORE CALLS UPON the government and the Togolese people to ensure the calm and transparent organisation of the presidential elections on 24 April 2005.
